Welcome to Angela's Kitchen! Here, you will learn how to make the Lithuanian Kugela recipe, the national dish of Lithuania!
First, the ingredients needed are:
1 pound of diced bacon
1 large onion
5 pounds of Russett potatoes
1/2 cup of flour
1 (12 ounce) can of evaporated milk
6 eggs
Salt and pepper.

To start, Preheat your oven to 375 degrees |

Next, lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan |
|
Then, over medium fire, begin to fry bacon pieces until crisp. |
|
After, remove bacon and move to paper towels |
|
Reserve half of the bacon drippings! |
|
Return the pan to the stove, and begin stirring the onions. Cook until soft and translucent. |

Use a large bowl and stir together the reserved drippings, bacon, onion and potatoes. |

Next, mix in the flour, evaporated milk, and eggs |
|
You can also use salt and pepper for seasoning. |
|
Pour into the baking dish |
|
Keep in oven until top is brown (about one hour) |

Cut into squares, and presto! You're finished! |

You can also serve with sour cream! |
